Letter of Commendation!

Today, we were HONORED by our county legislature in receiving a Letter of Commendation for winning $10,000 in the Lexus EcoChallenge, as well as becoming aquaponics experts in our community. We are so happy that we have such tremendous support coming from our elected officials and they truly want to support safe food sources in our area. It is heartwarming to see their enthusiasm to have young people involved in science and wanting to give back to our beautiful Hudson River. We loved being a part of this legislature meeting and hope to work with them soon. Legislator Rebecca Edwards hopes to collaborate soon on using abandoned factory space for commercial aquaponics setups. We can't wait to see what the future holds for our work in Poughkeepsie with our wonderful legislators. They wished us good luck for the upcoming Final Challenge of the Lexus EcoChallenge, which is due in JUST OVER A MONTH!!! Let the stress begin!
