Vail Farm Elementary School Excitement!

Mr. Adams' class of 26 students loved having us today and we were able to establish a classroom aquaponics system for these 5th graders! This system is stocked with brown trout through Trout in the Classroom and we started growing Bibb lettuce with our donated coconut coir and polystyrene raft system. The students are engaged with the process and we love inspiring students to become engaged with science. Today, we set up their system and they should be seeing sprouts within the next few hours! We will be checking in on them and helping them conduct an experiment to monitor the growth of their crops.
